Well, I never got used to her, and I didn't watch that series much at all. The middle of the third season killed Turtles for me at first. But hey, good representation here, can't complain ^^

i didnt hate her, i always wondered why they didn't keep her, they needed a female, cuz April or whatever always was so irritating, this is a really amazing pic. too bad they wouldn accept it, this woulda one for sure

The original creators of TMNT thought she was a really bad idea, so she was eliminated.

Which kinda sucked, I liked the idea of a female Turtle.

I'm not really a fan of Venus myself but, being a fan of TMNT in general (not to mention a member of the TMNTArt deviantart comunity), I must say that stunk. O.o Your picture is really good and it's a big shame that the official site didn't accept it.

I havent looked for TMNT on DA yet..hmm. I just think they didn't like Venus at all so they tried to pretend she didn't exist...Its a shame cause the idea for the character was cool, even if she did kinda suck...If you go the the TMNT official page it says that they wont accept pics of Venus in the rules *now* but that helps me none..If anything, my pic is a tribute to a character that didn't get much lime light..oh well...Thanks for the comment...Ill be sure to check out yur page!

Venus would have been a great idea...perhaps in a more serious vibed cartoon. Introducing her in a barney like, live action series was not the right way to do it. I hate what they did with the character and I think its a real shame.

Yah, and now she's gone, so the poor turtles don't ever get to go on dates or whatever. X(

As for more "serious vibed" well, just as long as they don't do what Image did... *shudders* that would be cool.

What did image do? When I said "serious vibe" I meant treating the audience like they are not all brain dead. The turtles became so goofy after it gained populatity.

The new ones on Fox Box aren't too bad. But they are still goofy, but I sorta like that.. ^^"

The anime was also a bit more serious. Lotsa cussing, nearly naked chicks, and a bit violent, if I recall.
